El Paraguas

Dentro de los jardines de una planta farmacéutica se eligió un espacio al aire libre en donde pudieran realizarse eventos y comidas; sin alterar la estética de la arquitectura.

Esta armazón bautizada como el paraguas, porque independientemente de que cumple con los mismos objetivos, visualmente es semejante, creando con las nervaduras una ondulante superficie, abierta al centro para dar paso al tronco del enorme Laurel de la India.​

Umbrella

This open-air space on the grounds of a pharmaceutical company can be used for luncheons and other events, without the architectural esthetic being modified.

The structure has been dubbed the “umbrella” because, independently of whether it serves the same purpose, it is visually similar. The ribbing creates an undulating surface that opens up in the middle to make way for the trunk of an enormous fig tree.
