Este proyecto se localiza a 120 kilómetros de la ciudad de Sao Paulo, dentro de un fraccionamiento privado con campo de golf, rodeado de una vegetación exuberante. El terreno tiene vista al campo de golf y coincide con la orientación norte. Existe una restricción de construcción alrededor de las cuatro colindancias.
El programa pedía tres zonas públicas bien diferenciadas que requerían espacios muy delimitados: la cocina, la sala de televisión y un salón de juegos. De ahí se generó la planta baja, con tres soportes o “patas” relacionadas por áreas muy abiertas: el comedor y la estancia, ambos con vistas ininterrumpidas y cruzadas, tanto hacia el campo de golf como hacia el jardín perimetral de la casa.
En la planta alta, que se apoya sobre los tres soportes, quedó la zona íntima con vistas hacia el norte, es decir, hacia el campo de golf.
Para acentuar los soportes y el volumen superior, se pintaron con tonos dorados y cobrizos patinados. El interior se pintó de color beige, tanto en la planta alta como en la baja.
Para facilitar la circulación y mantener unidad en el interior, la mayor parte de los muebles se integró a la construcción, con excepción del comedor y el mobiliario del área de jardín y la alberca.
Amoeba House
The house is located 120 kilometers from the city of Sāo Paulo, in a gated community with a golf course, surrounded by lush vegetation. The lot has northern exposure and looks over the golf course. There are construction restrictions along all four sides.
The program called for three sharply differentiated public areas in clearly delimited spaces: the kitchen, the TV room, and the games rooms. The solution is a ground floor with three supports or “legs” articulating very open areas: the dining room and living room, both with uninterrupted, intercrossing vistas of both the golf course and the grounds surrounding the house.
On the upper floor, which rests on the three supports, are the private areas, with views looking northward over the golf course.
The supports and the upper volume are painted in gilded tones with a coppery patina. The interiors are painted beige on both the upper and lower levels.
In order to facilitate circulation and maintain unity on the inside, most of the equipment and furnishings are fully integrated with the construction, except for the dining room set and the lawn and pool furniture.
